What A Castle

Neuschwanstein From Below

We went to Schloss (Castle) Neuschwanstein yesterday. A really magnificant site to see. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I also accidently navigated us into Austria, so now I can check off having also been in Austria. We have been doing a lot of traveling into some really neat German villages. Neat to see the consistency between villages. They all have the central big steeple for their church and they all have Maypoles that are several stories high. Thats all for now, have to head into work. Not sure about tonight, but Oktober Fest tomorrow!

Sweet! You saw King Ludwig's castle. He has another palace not too far from there called Linderhof. When I visited Adam in Germany, we toured Linderhof. Apparently, Linderhof is worth much much more than Neuschwanstein, but it is extremely small.

Glad to see you are enjoying Germany. Where are you spending most of your time?

Most of my time has been in Ottobrunn but when we get a chance we get out and try to see as much of Bavaria as we can. The gang that was out here last week while I was in LA already did the Old City in Munich, but I am hoping to get there this week. They also went and saw Linderhof, when we met up with them Saturday they were coming back from Linderhof.

Seperate post on Oktoberfest coming soon.
